Legerdemain

Legerdemain is a Steel Pan led, genre bending fusion group based out of Kansas City that holds deep roots in Jazz and performs in different sizes of ensembles. The group writes and arranges all of their music spanning a range of styles from all over the world!

The mission of the group is to expose more and more people to Pan while also approaching the Pan in a new and innovative way.

The core of the group is the Quartet set-up with Marcus Rattler on drumset and amplified Steel Pan simultaneously, Daniel Yung on Cello and Keys, Zach Arias on Guitar, and Andrew Voggessor on Bass. The band holds pride in being able to incorporate the steel pan and fuse genres in unexpected ways, which helped them to reach quarterfinals at the International Blues Challenge 2026!
