At Castle Studios, we see visuals as an extension of sound; another way for an artist’s story to be heard.
Where Sound Finds its Image
Led by Joey Moreno, our Lead Visual Storyteller
Our vision is led by Joey Moreno, an award-winning filmmaker and creative force in Kansas City’s commercial and independent film scenes. Joey has worked across camera, lighting, post-production, and design, bringing a rare full-spectrum understanding of how to shape a complete visual narrative.
Their style is bold and kinetic, full of emotion and movement but what defines their work most is intention. Joey doesn’t just capture moments; they reveal what the artist means to say. Every lighting choice, every camera shift, every cut serves the heart of the story.
Featuring Tia Daubas Photographer & Visual Artist
Alongside Joey, Tia Korina Daubas brings a fine-art sensibility to Castle Studios’ visual world. A gifted photographer and analog film artist, Tia captures light and emotion with instinctive grace, whether shooting on 35 mm film or digital formats. Her imagery balances texture and stillness, weaving spirituality and atmosphere into every frame.
Her background in analog mediums and visual art gives her work a soul that feels tangible a reflection of her belief that true art lives in process, not perfection.
Our Approach
Together, Joey and Tia lead a creative team rooted in intention, exploration, and collaboration. We don’t force visuals to fit a template; we allow stories to breathe, guided by authenticity and instinct.
Every shoot, whether for a music video, promo, or portrait is a shared experience between the artist and the camera. We take time to understand the message, the emotion, and the energy behind the work, creating visuals that feel honest, cinematic, and alive.
